I am a first-year Romanian student at
Business Academy Copenhagen North studying Service, Hospitality and Tourism
Management. I am writing to apply for an
internship at your company starting the 1 of August or the end of July as part
of my education.
One
of the major reasons why I intend to follow a career in this field is not only
because I want to be part of this industry, but especially because I see
tourism as a way of living. My university helped me to acquire a complete range
of theoretical knowledge and practical applications to suit my interest for a
future career and professional development. Furthermore, attending a university
abroad was a huge challenge for me especially because I had to prove myself
that I can succeed in a multicultural environment, learn under pressure
surrounded by people from all over the world and also socialize, work and
compete with them.
The purpose of the internship is to apply
the theory and methods studied during the first academic year at the
university. This will help us obtain new knowledge, new skills and competences
in a structured manner relevant for the industry. Having the chance to be an
intern at your company will ensure me a professional development in a
multidisciplinary cooperation. By contributing to specific and practical tasks
that are in focus in the company during my period there I will gain experience needed
in my future jobs.
I
believe that I am well-suited to be an intern in your company because I am
dedicated to the path I have chosen and I have a positive attitude, constantly
ready to take up challenges and to help my colleagues. I am organized; I like
to work harmoniously in teams in order to meet deadlines and eager to learn
from my mistakes. At certain tasks I also enjoy to work by myself in order to
prove that I can complete them. All in all, I will do my best to be an
outstanding employee, always initiator and creative due to the fact that your
company has a very good reputation in this field and the facilities you offer
to the employees appear to be both practical and up-to-date.
